Do you like beer? Stop in at Hop’s Downtown Grill where they have locally sourced meats and over 100 craft beers! The Kalispell Brewing Co. also has many delicious, hand crafted beers waiting for you to try. Downtown Kalispell even has a winery called Montavino. Museums and Galleries
The small-town charm really comes from the historic downtown museums and galleries. Whatever your artistic leanings, Kalispell has them. If you like learning about Native American culture, if you like looking at photography, if you like seeing old living places turned into museums then this is where you will want to be. Since the late 19th century, Kalispell has worked to preserve old buildings, culture, and history that this town has to offer. Check out the Conrad Mansion built in the 1896. It was home to Charles Conrad, the founder of Kalispell, Montana. Approximately, 90% of the decorations and furnishings are completely original to the home.
While you’re at it, stop in to the Northwest Montana History Museum for a time traveling tour through history. From Native American culture to the railroad industry, the timber industry, and the European settlers, there’s so much to learn about this historic small town.
